Portland AG says he will not prosecute protesters

Mayor says no Federal troops and no federal agents

Trump makes police Federal deputies and uses facial recognition to find out who are responsible. Arrests and prosecution starts.

‘Unprecedented’ use of tear gas against Portland protesters prompts state regulators to call for environmental testing

Portland enacts most stringent facial recognition technology ban in US, barring public, some private use

After months of protests, police officers in Portland, Oregon, will no longer use tear gas for crowd control. Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler made the announcement on Thursday and said it's time to reduce "the violence in our community."2 days ago

To me it seems they support the protesters since every turn to bring them to justice the Mayor enacts rules to stop them.

Yeah he doesn’t want to reduce it in any way! He has proved this time and time again. Tbe only way it will be reduced is by force.

The mayor is entirely correct, it's time to reduce the violence in his community.

Now if only he would....

In the meantime, President Trump is doing his job for him.

My guess is the Mayor doesn't own any property in the riot area.
Anyone want to bet his property has police protection.....
Admittedly, I don't know but, I think it's a safe bet.

Let me guess, he is a slum lord.   While I won't disagree with you on his mental state, I'll bet he gets a huge insurance pay out.  Admittedly, I don't know much about him but, Democratic leadership seems to always be on the receiving end of large sums of money.   Evil

I don't think he owned the building, I didn't think he did, but,,,,,
I thought he just rented an upper floor apartment from what I read. So his beloved protesters set fire to the building knowing he  [and others] lived there. He said he was moving to help protect the remaining tenants. He is such a thoughtful person.

I thought I read here that he owned ONE condo, the building that was in was attacked by the rioters, and then he moved out "to protect the rest of the owners" ? BTW that was an $800,000 condo....

It always amazes me that these people have no concept of cause and effect.  Don't they realize that the more insurance companies pay out in claims the more peoples rate rise?  It's the same with corporate taxes.  Corporations don't pay the tax they are liable for, we pay them when they increase the price of their product or service so they can pay the government.

They surely don't know anything about how the economy works  because they probably don't work or have to worry about economy in any sense.

There is alot more even though Google is no longer my search engine since they are like the big media companies are censoring conservatives. They are going to get a rude awaking when they are classified as public utilities and they are regulated the same way.

According to Barr, the organizing behind the rioting in cities across the country is under investigation and federal law enforcement agencies are working to identify the individuals behind the chaos.

Just had a very open and successful presidential election. Now professional protesters, incited by the media, are protesting. Very unfair!”

Paid protesters? They’re real — and a Beverly Hills firm that hires them stands accused of extortion in a lawsuit

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/soros-paid-march-for-our-lives-protesters/

Snopes concluded that the protesters were paid for merchandising, yes merchandising at a protest since what was done was against the law and he could be held responsible what do you expect?

We Assemble Movements

From grassroots organizations to advocacy groups, we seed the narratives and gather the audience you desire. When your strategy demands paid protest, we organize and bring it to life.

Unassailable Authenticity

We are strategists mobilizing millennials across the globe with seeded audiences and desirable messages. With absolute discretion a top priority, our operatives create convincing scenes that become the building blocks of massive movements. When you need the appearance of outrage, we are able to deliver it at scale while keeping your reputation intact.

https://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/the-perks-of-being-a-professional-protester

One of the slightly confusing things about professionally protesting is that sometimes you’ll hear about rallies in support of Donald Trump, done by people who aren’t being paid by anyone. Yes — incredibly, some people are gathering without getting paid. Crazy, right? That’s why it’s important for us pro protesters to focus on the money and not be distracted by rallies run by legitimate but non-paying organizations that support Trump, like the UFC and the KKK.

George is looking for people he can pay for professional volunteering, professional donating to charities, professional supporting local Democratic candidates— he’ll even pay you to professionally talk to people you know who voted for Trump to see if you can professionally change their minds. If you’re not taking the first step with a professional protest, you’re really missing out.
