These 2 strong cancer fighting medications have recently been approved to be given together..
to help fight small cell lung cancer.
I was the first person in the world to be given these 2 medications in successive dosages....one bag slow dripped after the other, as my lungs were one of many areas the melanoma cancer settled in.

32 months ago I started on these medications, and in those 32 months I'm sure thousands of others have been a test patient also....Some may not have been as fortunate as I.
The commercial caught me off guard, and put a tear in my eye, knowing I may have helped innocent patients have a fighting chance to beat this type of deadly disease.

On behalf of all those who benefit, thank you Terry. You're a good man.
Hopefully it keeps working for you and we all grow old together.

I couldn't have said it any better. Glad we've still got you around Terry to enjoy your company and keep us laughing.  Cool

When I started down this path, Opdivo was relatively new, and already being used for battling certain cancer cells...
Yervoy on the other hand, was the new kid on the block in the battle against cancer. It had only been out for a couple years, and had never been given in conjunction with another cancer medication. So the big unknown was, how will these 2 different medications react with each other, and still do what they were developed to do...Their action / reaction sent me to the emergency room twice...

Never thought in my wildest dreams I'd have been a guinea pig for medical research... and lived to enjoy life after.

And there they are, His Majesty, talking to the King! Different battles, still fighting and still winning! Love you both to pieces!
