Hurricane Sally turned our way at the last second. I’ve checked on Farside. He’s good but no power. Earl of Pensacola has it the worst and didn’t answer his phone. I’ll try again in a bit. We have power and the worst of the wind should be over just buckets more of rain to come. Good thing Im on a high hill, no chance of flooding.

It is coming here by tonight, the rain but not the wind... I hope... It is
going to be a soggy next few days, maybe some flash-flood
rearranging of stuff down at the creek...

Ok just heard back from Earl in Pensacola he’s fine but no power. The problem with Sally is she’s moving so slowly it keeps the rain overhead for so long. Now flooding for some will be the main issue

Glad to hear you folks are still OK.

If you got some extra moisture we on the other side could sure use some.

I hope Ron in Hattiesburg has his ark fully water proofed with the amount of rain you all are supposed to get.

My parents live in Pensacola, near 9th ave and I-10.  They lost a little siding and had a lot of tree damage, but other than that they're ok.  My dad's loving his generator about now.  He had one of those natural gas powered generacs put in a couple of hurricanes ago.
