Hatfield WI just north of Black River Falls somewhere north of Lake Arbutus within miles of the Clark County ATV trails I have been ATVing on dozens of times.    Not gutted over 800lbs. WOW that is insane never knew black bears get that big ever, especially in WI.

And a 11 year old sees one her first ever and 1st black bear hunt.  She is one lucky girl.  Gramps is proud am sure.   cooldude

I never knew black bears in WI got to be 800lbs.   Is eerie feeling though since am sure was within few miles of where it was shot ATVing about a dozen times or so.  The Clark county forest right next to the Jackson county forest has plenty of swampland for them to hide out in that is for sure that only a bear could go thru.  The 11 year old said she was nervous but I might be scared to death to see 800lbs. that close up.
