Doing what he does; traveling the country keeping our Valkyries in top shape one machine at a time.

Yesterday he had mine on the lift, final drive service and correcting a few of my mistakes a long the way.

Those are images worthy of a cover from the Saturday Evening Post as drawn by Norman Rockwell.

Thank you, sometimes you catch a moment that reflects more than just that millisecond.  I watched Bill work that afternoon in a very casual and happy way; a man in his element.

Glad to see Bill is on the road and doing what he does.

Still hoping he will make it to Georgia soon and work on Thumper's "Charlene". She needs a carb rebuild and some stiffer shocks up front.

Looking forward to seeing you Bill.  cooldude

OFG,

You've come closer than I in describing that interesting moment. I watched as he replaced the 'O' ring on our girl's alternator once... I was amazed at his obvious patience, as he jiggled and finessed that contrary alternator and eventually coaxed it back into place... never once becoming frustrated or aggravated or getting in a hurry. He was working to be working and not simply working to get done... He was definitely in his element! I'm certain it had been haste in the first place that had made that new 'O' ring necessary. He is quite a good guy and a first-rate wrench to boot!
