Their appeal was the automatic shifiting.  Seems like I remember that a lot of women liked them because of the lack of shifting.  Don't know anyone that had one but did hear of them back in the day.

They were a big deal for a few years. Like thunderbolt said, geared more towards women. Expensive but never heard anything bad about them, the few people I’ve talked to loved them. To me, looked like a glorified Briggs and straten motor. LOL.

I think RP 62 had one for his better half at one time. Seems like I remember seeing a pic of it on a trailer behind their Boss Hoss.

The fellow Lesa and I purchased the 1982 Honda 650 from recently owned one and really liked it. Said he regretted selling that one.

When Sherrie Was Looking To Buy A motorcycle We Test Rode A Couple of Them At A Dealer In Leesburg. They Are Tiny and Ride Like A Mini-Bike, Maybe Good For Around Town. She Settled With A New Shadow 1100 Sabre.

interesting that Harley put them out of business.

Motorcycle Consumer News did a report on the 3/4 scale bike and the company back in the day.
they liked it.

Well it is possible HD might find itself in the same boat if they do not innovate.
