Fun fact: I was a registered Republican from my 18th birthday until just a few years ago. So, there's no need to paint me as a lifelong left wing enemy of all things Republican. Trump's Republican part isn't the one I used to belong to. That's why I left. He and people like him are why I left. I have voted for both parties at different times and never let my affiliation determine my vote.
If that's true, why don't you list three policies from the Democrats you like, and three you dislike from your former Republican party. Many of us have been waiting for the dems on this board to tell us where they stand for years. Maybe you can be the first! When you vote for a candidate, a lot of party baggage comes with the package. It's amazing how many voters don't understand that, and naively 'vote for the person'. OMG ! There are literally thousands of posts from liberals explaining what they stand for. Possibly millions of posts from conservatives explaining what they stand for. I won't be the first, but it's possible to be the last. Deflect, deny, distract. True to form.

Reference SCOTUS and the coming nomination.
The Dems are screaming foul. Does anyone think that if the Dems controled the WH and the Senate the same thing would not be happening? The roles would be reversed and the Republicans would be screaming foul. Does anyone really believe that if the 2016 election had turned out differently and evil had taken up residence in the WH that Satan's bride wouldn't be putting a Liberal ass in that seat?
Squeal and squirm all you want, the pendulum swings both ways and the left has had it's time. Honestly, this nomination is just as important as this upcoming election (if not more). President Trump was handed the opportunity and would be letting this country down should he not nominate a qualified jurist.
Although I refuse to switch political parties, I find it extremely difficult to find a Conservative Democrat I can support. As someone else said, I didn't leave the party, they left me.

Republican ideals thst I do not support: 1. Anti-abortion legislation 2. Anti labor union legislation 3. The attempt to legislate Christian values.

Not Republican ideals. I don't want to have to wade through the Christian Right wing's decisions on how I should live my life.

The Atlantic is one of the most Left Wing biased pieces of trash on the news stand. Nothing in that or previous prints give President Trump credit for anything positive. What could happen and what will happen are two different scenarios. But, as our President said, we shall see. While I will not vote for the Harris/Biden ticket, if they are elected, I will respect the office of POTUS until it no longer deserves that respect. Rams

And for good reason, all things considered. The latest being the batch of 'discarded' ballots. 9 ballots found thrown away. 7 were open and showed Trump was voted for on all 7. I would seriously doubt any discarded ballots would be checked in favor of biden.

My feeling is this election is going to be one big S***storm no matter who "wins" - unless it is overwhelmingly one or the other by a margin so large that mailin ballots won't matter.

In an area in VA over 1000 people got 2 mail-in ballots.
A friend has received 3.

So here is the question posed by the reporter
Reporter: "Win, lose or draw in this election, will you commit here today for a peaceful transferal of power after the election" President Trump: "We're going to have to see what happens
Why in the heck would you commit to peaceful transfer if you win? You folks are unbelievable. You twist and turn words out of context, snip/clip sound bites just to hear what you want to hear.

Seriously ? Here is the quote of what he said. The full quote. "We'll have to see what happens, you know that I've been strongly complaining about the ballots, and the ballots are a disaster. Get rid of the ballots and we'll have a very peaceful — there won't be a transfer, frankly, there'll be a continuation."

I heard the speech on OAN He did not say vote twice. Twist words as you will The agenda is beat Trump by any means necessary. This includes mail in ballots for which there is zero accountability of quality control If you support this you are not getting the big picture A person can buy food then they can go to the poll or else they can ask NOW for absentee ballot and do it the way it should be done And being anti 9 month or partial birth abortion is not just a christian value No right is absolute If you believe otherwise then there is no grey And why doesn't the father get a say after the fetus is viable? After all he would have to support the child for 18 yrs? Personally I always felt after a certain period the rights of the fetus should equal the right of the mother unless the life of the mother would terminate during birth Not a Christian though Oss Yeah and I dont eat bacon either unless its turkey bacon

Rumor has it in N.J. is that there is no check or balance if someone votes via a mailed to you/addressed to you MAIL IN BALLOT and then decides to vote in person VIA PROVISIONAL Paper Ballot at their polling place.
Now it’s pretty much a given that N.J. will be a Blue State going to Biden.

What a crock. They were not counted because some fool opened and separated the envelopes deaming them 'naked' and now useless. So they were thrown away apparently in a poor attempt at covering up the screw up, at best. Or at worst they just got caught is a criminal activity.

I don't believe NJ is alone in that. It recently happened in VA and NYS. A friend always votes personally but called for a ballot to see what would happen. He received 3. The local commish says there are no checks/balances for the mail-in ballot procedures. There are only 2 correct ways, at this point, to vote. In person or Absentee. NYS is also a blue state because of the more populated areas and of course NYC. So biden is pretty much guaranteed to take this state. I do see more folks moving towards Trump though.
