No thanks ... I've not had to haul anything that needed a pusher truck " yet " and hope I never do.

I doubt many,  including Joe,  could or would want to drive 20 mph for hundreds of miles at a time?  Just imagine if we did that on our Valks, boring.... Cry

I have a hard enough time doing 10 mph speed limit thru my 1 mile town on my ATV,  more like 20 mph.

Back in '73 I was working at the Navajo generating station in Page Az. and we had a rotor that had to be trucked from flagstaff to page and It was not allowed to get on the roads because it was so big and heavy. about the same size as this thing but solid steel. I was an operator on one of the 4 D-9 dozers that had to help push this thing across the dessert sands. I used to have a video of it but thats long gone now.

I was at a truck stop in or near Seattle Wa. and I had seen a number of concrete beams coming from I guess the water front and getting on the Interstate. A 4 axle tractor in the front and on the rear another 4 axle tractor except the rear unit was a cab under. The beam was mounted on a plate but the whole unit was under the beam. With out the rear unit would have been next to impossible to make the turn from the 4 lane onto the Interstate. I've pulled a few permit loads but nuttin like the one posted. RIDE SAFE.

now that is a story.

the D9 was used in the movie Killdozer! a 1974 made for TV science-fiction horror movie,
and I tend to remember the two dozers were D9s used in Vanishing Point.
