I don’t blame him. I’ve seen how drugs can bring someone back around with cognitive issues, but after a certain point they pass the point of no return.
I certainly bet Biden is on some kind of medical cocktail for his issues and have believed that since he announced his candidacy.

Curious what do you base that on? I've seen dementia up close in my own family. I know what it looks like.

Not baiting. Just stating my assessment of his morning Twitter comment. Between that and his comments about how Biden has so much more debate experience than he does, he looks to be lowering expectations for the undecideds and softening the blow to his base for the stomping he sees coming on Tuedsay.

sure, why not a drug test before the Tuesday debate? They do random drug tests where I use to work, but for other reasons besides dimentia. If they running for the top dog, they should have nothing to hide right? I have not watch a full Biden speech yet so I cannot tell what he normally acts like to decide though if he is on drugs or not. This may be the 1st debate I might actually watch in full, well maybe? Usually I just turn the debate off for after 15-20 minutes hearing them lie thru their teeth makes me sick and angry so I turn to another TV station to avoid the frustration and stupidity coming out of their mouths. Was funny my neighbor who recently retired hates Trump and dislikes Republicans in general votes Democrat but his son who is a lt. colonel in the military thinks Trump is the way to go and is a Republican thru and thru. Every time I see him once every few months he brings that up like yesterday again. I can see now his son and him getting into it over Republican vs. Democrat think it is absolutely funny as all heck. You would have to know his son and him to understand it fully, but would be quite amusing to see their heated debate.

He would go through stages of fear, frustration and anger when pressed or questioned on even the most trivial of topics like “who is this” in a photograph of a close family member. Short term memory was virtually non existent and the loss of long term memory led to vivid made up stories with some small bits of truth mixed in. The man lived with us for 13 months after his wife passed and in that time the rapid decline was too much to continue to live with. We had to finally put him on Haldol to keep him from trying to constantly fight with everyone.

My experience was with my Grandmother (who was more of a real mother to me). First person in our family ever to go to college, teacher, she was the sharpest, smartest person I've ever known. Then the vascular dementia hit her. Aricept helped for a while, then it didn't. She began to accuse my then wife of stealing her jewelery and when we showed her that it was all safe in her jewelery box, she said they were fakes and the originals had been stolen. Eventually she couldn't distinguish between her father, husband, son or grandson in photos. My then wife and I moved in with her so that she could stay in her home. Later came incontinence, refusal to bathe, refusal to eat, etc. It was a really rough 4 years. The worst were her "good" days where you could see that she realized what was happenning to her and she'd just cry.

I'm going through living with someone with dementia myself, after seeing my own mother go through it. MIL is still mostly taking care of herself - short term memory is practically gone. She is still taking reasonably good care of herself, but keeping track of her money, purses / wallets with DL and bank card seems utterly beyond her abilities at this time. The wife and me have essentially taken over paying her bills, and making sure that she keeps a bank card. But her habit of constantly moving things from one wallet to another is driving all of us crazy. Same thing on keys. She moves things around, or puts something somewhere, then can't remember where anything is. I've seen deteriation this summer - she used to be able to easily run the lawn tractor to mow the yard - now, even when she starts doing it, if she stalls the mower out, she can't get it going again, and I usually end up finishing it for her. I've told her repeatedly that I'll be glad to take this chore over, but she wants to keep asserting her independence.

This is just him laying the groundwork to explain his inevitable defeat. Also, it brings to mind how he suddenly went on a rant about how he hadn't had a series of mini-strokes....which NO ONE claimed that he did. He's coming apart at the seams, he's losing Republican support, the house of cards is falling. He's scared and grasping at anything he can. It's hilarious.

Biden certainly needs all the mental help he can get. With the 'rumors' of him being shot up with certain cocktails I surely agree with the drug testing.
He should also be checked for 'hearing aids' . The man can't complete a sentence without some sort of help.
One thing I think is safe to say is that a teleprompter won't be anywhere near this debate. That might put ole Joe into panic mode.
I've also dealt with dementia and alzheimer's, he's got it.

Curious what do you base that on? I've seen dementia up close in my own family. I know what it looks like.
So have I. I watched the decline of my father-in-law over a long period who is now in a memory care facility because we could not continue to care for him. In the early stages we saw that some medication helped bring him back some, we saw that when he was angry and his blood pressure was up he had crystal clear moments of clarity which could last for hours at first but then as the Alzheimer’s/Dementia advanced nothing would help. That sounds all too familiar and I am truly sorry you're going through that. Later came incontinence, refusal to bathe, refusal to eat, etc. It was a really rough 4 years. The worst were her "good" days where you could see that she realized what was happenning to her and she'd just cry. Not to keep up the sadness of this issue, I rambled and got of track. One thing I left out was his moments of clarity when his “blood pressure was up”. Early on we found some forums regarding Alzheimer’s and Dementia and found we were not alone with others mentioning similar experiences. We also met some people at the adult daycare center he would go to daily who when asked were surprised we had a similar experience, they thought it was just their imagination. So that led me to answer your response of why I thought he could be on some medication. I believe that with the right amount of adrenaline pumping through the system it brings more blood flow through the brain. The adrenaline combined with a cognitive medication may be the right cocktail but who am I to decide that. Massive amounts of research is still needed.

All this being said, let's dissect part of what Trump tweeted this morning:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump · 32m I will be strongly demanding a Drug Test of Sleepy Joe Biden prior to, or after, the Debate on Tuesday night
Strongly demanding? As opposed to what kind of demanding? Gentle demanding?
"His Debate performances have been record setting UNEVEN, to put it mildly."
WTF does this even mean? Are there records for uneveness? Where are these records kept? What was the previous record?
Only drugs could have caused this discrepancy???
Um, are you asking or telling?
Seems to me that it's Trump who's mental acuity should be called into question, even if he CAN recognize an elephant.

Ok, so if you’ve watched any of Joe’s videos, his performance is all over the place. There are times when he doesn’t seem to be able to string a whole sentence together let alone a complete thought and keep it on track. When pressed for details or questioned he gets argumentative and defensive. He’s good at times, at a quick hit and run “press conference “ but still has issues stumbling over himself at times. One key thing to look for in the debate is his performance toward the end. I expect him to,come out of the gate swinging but if he is on a cocktail, it may run out on him town the end. Another issue would be the physical nature of the debate, standing and debating. If there aren’t any chairs available it could impact his ability to concentrate on standing and arguing. Watch for leaning on the podium for support. If I was Trump I would hammer him on his years of service. Hammer him on the 40 years in public office and lack of accomplishments, his ties to Hunter and all that stuff. I would press every button possible to get Joe off balance and show his cognitive issues.

All this being said, let's dissect part of what Trump tweeted this morning:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump · 32m I will be strongly demanding a Drug Test of Sleepy Joe Biden prior to, or after, the Debate on Tuesday night
Strongle demanding? As opposed to what kind of demanding? Gentle demanding?
"His Debate performances have been record setting UNEVEN, to put it mildly."
WTF does this even mean? Are there records for uneveness? Where are these records kept? What was the previous record?
Only drugs could have caused this discrepancy???
Um, are you asking or telling?
Seems to me that it's Trump who's mental acuity should be called into question, even if he CAN recognize an elephant.
You seem to be obsessed. -RP Obsessed? I'd say horrified would be a better description. I thought from earlier threads that you are confident in a Harris-Biden win. So what’s the problem?

Humbled ? Not possible. Donald J. Trump is incapable of that feeling.

I can see the op is back to baiting the subject lines.
Would you agree with me
Why don’t you just say it
Looks like
A dog can't resist its own vomit. I did a search for the word "Obama" here on the board. Here are a few of the thread titles I came up with. Obama must be defeated Barack Obama's failed presidency Obama is to blame Painting - Obama trampling on constitution Is Obama rigging the 2012 vote? Introduction: The Hussein Obama you don't know Obama Net mandatory password is on its way "president" Obama Proof that Barack is the Obamessiah OBAMA IS GIVING AWAY OUR ISLANDS!! You didn't seem to have any objections when you agreed with the poster. I did not post any of that and I find these direct above opinions saving one. Not this baiting lingo. Well, I didn't come up with "very stable genius" That's what he calls himself. I find it very telling how angry you get when he is quoted word for word. Now you're starting to see how the rest of the world feels when we read what he tweets or listen to what he says. I’m not angry at all and I am only talking about the headers, you sound like a bad feel good class I had to take on customer service specifically customer service with persuasion. I mentioned nothing about political sides.

What's with you and vomit? It's like a fetish. Sad.
