#2 Test ride
Pretty neat work, pretty classic motorcycle.
Engine builders are very imaginative persons; tip of the cap.

I'm surprised he does such work using imprecise tools like a hacksaw, files, handheld drill, BBQ grill, Dremel etc. and gets away with it. Takes longer and surely errors introduced. Welds the cylinders together and VOILA they magically are exactly aligned. No misalignment caused by welding heat cooling, no jig to hold alignment. Heats them up in the BBQ to remove/insert the cylinder liners and magically they stay hot. Cuts the cylinders width by hand and magically they align with the crankshaft. He's very lucky he doesn't SNAFU it and have to start over. And not showing the re-do's and needed precision on measurements. I would use higher precision machine and measurement tools. He's not showing effort to correct the precision errors. "Measure twice and cut once" is the maxim that should be shown here. Don't follow his shown methods or you will be very discouraged.

I would think there has to be a whole lot we are not being shown. I think it would take a bazillion hours to cobble together such a thing.

Have heated V6 and V8 outboard blocks in the oven and sleeves in the freezer and gotten that part done. With leather gloves, a bit of know how, and luck the sleeves go in and all the intake and exhaust ports line up. I will say....ya' gotta' be quick.
