So you come down with a mild case, and quarantine at home while constantly drinking rye whiskey and eating chili dogs.  A week later you're feeling better and test negative.  Did you cure yourself with rye and coneys, or did you recover from the virus?  Hmmm.

Actually, I'd be suffering from a severe case of indigestion........ 2funny

No 98 the initial test was not a false positive.    Wink

u know I provide the articles including one from the inventor of the science of the PCR testing and HOW IT IS FLAWED.  It seems nobody reads them or just don't understand the science reports or just don't want to believe and accept the fact that the country has been lied to and has fallen for a scam by the deep state.
more people have died from the flu
This week the CDC quietly updated the Covid number to admit that only 6% of all the 153,504 deaths recorded actually died from Covid

These molecular tests, commonly called PCR tests, search for the virus’s genetic material and are seen as the gold standard in accuracy. They catch the virus in its earliest days.

Under a subheading labeled “comorbidities”—additional conditions people experienced in addition to a primary diagnosis such as COVID-19—the NCHS shared that “for 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned” on a death certificate, meaning that only 6 percent of individuals had no underlying health complications other than COVID-19 reported when they died. The statement continued, “for deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death.”

This is from the article you posted and there is some truth to the numbers so its not a total lie.

The interaction of the body is not fully known, but truth is Covid may be a door but its not as lethal itself as first thought.

Truth is they just dont know yet so much of Covids cause, effects, and pathways.

As I have said of all the tests I have seen and the experience I have they are not conclusive.

I'm surprised they gave it 6%.  Like most respiratory virii,  C-19 does not typically kill by simply acquiring it.  The unfortunate few who perish from it die from pre-existing and/or virus related complications such as pneumonia.

This applies to influenza as well.

I imagine that fact doesn't make the experience more enjoyable for them.

People are jumping all over The President from the other side with posts on social media.

It’s just a positive test.

He may not be a cashier in a supermarket with dozens upon dozens of people walking by on a daily basis but he’s  probably one of the busiest people in the country and sees more than his fair share of people on a daily basis.

I don’t know if him and Biden were tested prior to the debate. I would think it may be a possibility.

I think I read that everyone there, including the candidates were tested.  Also, I've read that everyone in the White House is tested daily.  However, there is a 3-7 day lag time between initial exposure and when enough of the virus is present in a person for them to test positive.
And when you have nearly everyone running around without masks, it was inevitable. How many were contaminated out in the country from his recent rallies ? I hope Baron is not infected. I hope everyone who is infected pulls thru ok. The odds are they will. The odds also show some may die.

God help us all.

Ok, so it’s been 9 months since the outbreak. The President has been casual about masks as far as he’s concerned. It took 9 months for him to TEST positive. Not actually be sick, but just test positive.

Here we are 9 months into this, and so many people are still ill informed about this pandemic.  Undecided

I’ll informed about what, who gets tested before a debate?

He is expected to remain there for several days as his condition is worsening.

I'm wondering if this is more serious than we thought.  It seems unlike him to allow himself to be hospitalized and not to have made a public statement.

I hope not.  I've lost people to this stupid virus and wouldn't wish that suffering on anyone.

Don’t know what media source you’re getting info from but he’s being taken there for observation purposes mainly. He’s being given an antibody (Regeneron ) medication so they want to be able to monitor his condition as needed after all he is The President. IMO it would be irresponsible for him not to be at Walter Reed, minor or serious. Also he may have no choice as when the secret service wisked him away to safety when there was a shooing near the White House.

No mask will protect you

how is a mask going to protect you

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man

Actually there is a mask system that will protect the wearer from all airborne infected droplets.  It involves the use of an attached oxygen tank.  Perhaps we're all headed that way.   Shocked

The CDC newest numbers say 99% cure rate and 94 in their age bracket. No mask will protect you since its to plentiful in the general population. Its like trying to protect yourself from the smell when you go by a garbage dump.

Ok, ok.  Once and for all: THE MASK IS NOT TO PROTECT YOU FROM CONTRACTING THE VIRUS.  THE MASK IS TO PREVENT IN INFECTED PERSON FROM SPREADING THE VIRUS.

BECAUSE YOU CAN SPREAD THE VIRUS TO OTHERS WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING THAT YOU HAVE IT, COVERING YOUR MOUTH AND NOSE IN PUBLIC IS A COURTESY THAT PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT OTHERS EXTEND.
Not pointing to any link or news information just my guts have an issue this (is not to protect you but to protect others). Is the mask one way. Just does not compute in my way of thinking.   And again Sweden.  And again Sweden.................

Ricin was just sent to the White House 9/20.

Thats a pretty big leap to make.

It does protect others somewhat. From a cough or a sneeze. That is all.

Regarding treatment that the President has recieved:

Trump is "in a race" against coronavirus, Regeneron CEO says
From CNN’s Shelby Lin Erdman

President Trump is now “in a race” against coronavirus, the CEO of biotechnology company Regeneron said after the drug maker provided a dose of its experimental antibody treatment to the President on Friday.

“He's in a race where his immune system is racing against the virus, and if the virus wins you can have dire consequences, obviously, and what our antibodies do is we make it a fair fight,” Dr. Leonard Schleifer told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.

“He's in a higher risk group for a variety of reasons such as being older, and if we give our antibodies, we hope that we will give his immune system enough of a boost so that he can win this and make a complete recovery,” Schleifer said.
“That’s the strategy. We’ve got a lot of data but we’re still in the experimental phase, but when you’re in the midst of a pandemic and you have people at risk, we think it makes sense to try these,” he added.

Regeneron’s experimental monoclonal antibody treatment is still in large-scale clinical trials, but Schleifer said it is available for compassionate use, something the US Food and Drug and Administration has to approve on an individual basis.

Trump received a single 8 gram dose of Regeneron’s dual antibody cocktail Friday and completed the infusion without incident, the President’s physician, Dr. Sean Conley, said in a statement.

A single high-dose should do the trick, Schleifer said. “It's a large enough dose, so that it'll last for quite a long time, hopefully even beyond when he's made a complete recovery,” Schleifer said. “We have evidence ready that these are long lasting in the body, as you'd expect with this type of therapy.”

The cocktail includes two monoclonal antibodies—lab-engineered versions of immune system proteins targeted specifically against coronavirus. “It’s not all that complicated. We’re just trying to mimic the natural immune system, which really isn’t ready to go when the virus is already going,” Schliefer said.

Schleifer says Regeneron is seeing promising results in its clinical trials of the treatment.

Schleifer would not say whether first lady Melania Trump received the same experimental treatment.
