cooldude Pretty cool to see the story of your bike. I have a question. Were there any issues putting the stacks on your bike after the Attic Rat up grade?  ???

I enjoyed that... it's well put together.
Don't think I've seen one of the small rear fender trunks before (at 4:02 in video). Did you make that yourself?

That's called a smuggler's trunk, comercially made but kinda pricey. Was going to put one on the GL1200 I rebuilt until I saw the price....even used are rather high. Looks good on Josh's bike.  cooldude

That is a Corbin Smuggler Trunk which was made for the Valkyrie for a short time. I acquired it and had it painted a couple of years ago. As far as I know it's the only one in existence.

Cool video and music Josh.  I remember you pointing to my No Pickle sticker in Spearfish and asking what that was all about. I started singing the song aloud and you looked at me like I was plum nuts!   2funny

Josh,

Well done, my friend! Your 'art' has many facets and outlets. I'm amazed at all of the ways it reveals itself and the extent of your abilities to swing back and forth between creative visualizations of possibilities, tinkering with mechanical things, producing novel, functional, and ultimately aesthetically pleasing products that make the rest of us smack our foreheads and say WOW! Proud to know you!!! I enjoyed the vid, and I do agree totally... pickles are not a necessary item for riding enjoyment...

Bruce,

Though I thoroughly enjoy the people and interactions my creations have made possible it must be admitted there are alternative and selfish motivations behind the journey with by beloved Valkyrie.

Having been caught up in the doldrums of employment for a majority of my existence, there is now something on a very distant horizon, retirement. The pinnacle of ones career, maybe? For me a goal achieved, and the freedom to ride on a whim, with the wind, sun at my back, nay a interstate or busy city.

One doesn't want to find himself far from home, and civilization fraught with annoyances. And so I'm constantly dialing it in, tightening the screws, tweaking this, and adding that. All in efforts to be able to head off without a care in the world knowing the bike, my Valkyrie will take me there.

Very nice tribute to your dad, Josh and I love Arlo Guthrie.  I had Attic Rat do my bike as well, but I switched the truck stacks that were on it (too loud) for my son's stock pipes.  I have the daymaker LED with your bracket and love it.  Thanks for making those available.

I will look for you at Inzane in Athens.

Not being a fan of pickles, "I don't want a pickle" is my usual montra. I have however do often find myself in a pickle which I don't like either.
