This question is for those with glasspacks with silencers.  How close does the mod with the silencers bring it back to the stock noise level.  I would love to do the glasspack mod but, the better half likes it on the quiet side. I now have the stock pipes with 18" truck stack tips and she is ok with that setup. On another valk, I cut the piggies and it made a drone sound at about 65 mph that was a little anoying.  I also had a valk with six into six that was too loud for the wife.  I would like a bit mellower sound out of the fat lady, not harsh noise, and I think the glasspacks would be ideal, hopefully the silencers would keep the wife happy. Thanks for your opinions.

I made the silencers for mine, but have never actually used them. Just stuck them in to see what they sounded like. To me, it's not much if any louder that stock with the silencers in.

I have custom made exhaust from Pro Dyno here in Phoenix made especially for my Valk. They are glass pac style and a bit louder than the stock but way under the sound of six into six that I had on my other Valk. They are pretty mellow sounding until ya get on it pretty hard but still not like your average truck stacks. Remember these were custom made so I cannot really compare to others as I have not heard other glass pacs before. I know can ride all day (and I have 1140 miles in 19 hours 23 min) and it does not bother me. Hope this helps.
