This one pretty much sums up my thoughts last night. I was mostly listening to the debate, looking up from the iPad occasionally. Brenda asked me if that was a fly on his head ? I was spellbound. I wanted to shoo it off, but I also wanted it to stay ! My main takeaway from the debate was that the strategy of the Trump/Pence ticket seems to hinge on rudeness. I've followed this guy since he was first elected to Congress. He is not a rude guy. I have never seen him do that before. It seemed intentional to me.
I didn’t notice any rudeness, but on the contrary the eye rolls and facial expressions by Harris were rather high school-ish as well as her condescending tone on many retorts. Debates are contentious at times and rather heated, if you observed rudeness by Pence, ok but jamming so much into the time frame is a tough layout. The moderator wasn’t really allowing too much retort on either side and from other debates I’ve watched, candidates are typically allowed to respond when a claim is made. I have never seen Pence do that before. He kept talking over his time and over the moderator just about every time. Ain't no big deal. As they say, this isn't beanbags. It just seemed an intentional strategy on his part. Go look it up! She got more talk time than he did. That is a fact. Where did you find that? I can't find it.

Most news reports it was pretty much equal, but I did see independent reports Harris had about 4 or 5 minutes more.

It did seem that Harris got around 15 seconds more leeway time before the, "Thank you's" kicked in. Maybe not every time, but definitely noticeable.

It might be worth watching considering neither Biden nor Trump probably only have a 50/50 chance of making it the next 4 years.
do not know much about this Harris lady would like to see her speak while Pence is just a pawn of Trump.
she slept with willie brown a married man for yrs to advance her career, he has clearly stated as such. she was raised and schooled in canada from 11 yrs old until she graduated HS there. so learned nothing about American growing up. spent her summers with her rich grandfather in India. started calling herself african american so she could get into howard U. she's is not aa. her sister works for msnbc, the sister and her husband have deep connections to the clintons. Sex and politics...been going on for centuries.

neither one answered the darn questions though, all BS talk for 2 hours. I guess I expected too much since after all they are all lying politicians. agree as others said, 2-3 minutes is nowhere long enough to answer any questions although not one question was answered IMO all BS talk. You could tell Pence was more calm and well versed over Harris more childlike in her expressions and speech. I do not like either candidate so might as well vote for a 3rd party although then my vote counts for nothing since no way an independent party will win the election. I really feel they should put on the ballot an option of NONE OF THE ABOVE I would vote for that one.

Depends on how it goes.... Putin wants Trump, but our greater enemy, Xi Jinping, has Biden in his pocket and is pulling out all the stops to get him elected..... I'd personally MUCH rather deal with Russia than have the greater evil China in control of our government.....

I really feel they should put on the ballot an option of NONE OF THE ABOVE I would vote for that one. The worst part is trying to interpret what they’re not saying. For instance the subject of not revealing whether or not they will pack the Supreme Court. Also on that subject Harris was caught in a little fib regarding Abe Lincoln. https://www.washingtonpost.com/history/2020/10/08/lincoln-supreme-court-kamala-harris/https://www.foxnews.com/media/washington-post-fact-checks-harris-history-lincolnAs far as I’m concerned this IS the primary concern of this election, not the economy and not Covid-19. This has much worst ramifications for decades to come if they do in fact pack the court. Last night on FOX Sean Hannity lays out all of the misconceptions and lies told about President Trump about white supremacy, the fracking issue double talk by Biden/Harris as well as Supreme Court. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sP25xCWnIrUThis is the full show including a phone interview with President Trump.

It’s sad that so many ignorant well meaning Americans can’t see the mass amount of out right lies and deception the left is pouring out. The only way joe wins is by cheating but if it works the consequences will be devastating and many that supported his fake lying campaign will say. “I wish I had known”.
Not sorry.

Perhaps this is why she thinks the Tara Reade issue is not a big deal! Maybe in her eyes this is the only way women can get ahead in politics! And if so, the only way to explain her Kavenaugh b!tching, after her hypocritical statement of all women have to be believed, is her "no win for Trump" feeling no mater how it hurts Americans!

I think a warning light at 15 seconds remaining would allow the opportunity to complete their thought, rather than trying to cut them off mid-sentence. I also think that candidates should control the topics and bring up what they consider important. What the moderators think is important is irrelevant; their role should only be time management.

These would be ; Nevada District of Columbia California New Jersey Colorado Hawaii Utah Washington Oregon Vermont Given that, only Nevada, Colorado, Utah have any chance of their Electors going for Trump. I would say Nevada and Colorado don't stand much of a chance. But even if they did, that would only result in 21 electoral college votes being fraudulently swung. Were Trump to win in a landslide as you say, those 21 votes would hardly matter. The scenario of the "criminal underworld" cheating Trump out of the election doesn't seem to hold much water.

There’s a lot of ticked off people here in NJ...thousands of business owners who have been screwed over by Gov. Murphy and these restrictions. Lots of people here not working because they’re being told they’re not allowed to because the governor is restricting numbers and indoor dining. NJ could flip. I’m not guaranteeing it, but from what I see around many places, it’s Trump land out there. However we do have concentrated areas of Democrats who thrive on the free stuff live off the state.
