This is admiitedly a poor excuse for the reason BUT I Believe we are now reaping what was Not sowed when needed. My oldest from 2nd marriage-30ish-was NOT happy studying history in High School and I'm thinkin then was when they started pulling back of teaching history. Children from first marriage-oldest 50ish-were Still studying history. Bout as close as I can pin it down. I had a quick skim of the 30ish ones history book. It Barely touched WWII and NO/NONE/NADA about Korea Nam or like that. I've also called out young uns about NOT uncovering during Our Natinal Anthem. RIDE SAFE. |

I believe the reason to be liberals. After-all aren't teachers graduates from liberal arts schools and have been indoctrinated in those classes. |

I believe the reason to be liberals. After-all aren't teachers graduates from liberal arts schools and have been indoctrinated in those classes. I finished high school in '68. We were required to take 4 years of history: 1) World history 2) US History 3) Indiana History 4) Civics - a combination of Government History and Structure of Government In my humble opinion they quit teaching history in the '70s so they could start indoctrinating instead. |

For the record the original cartoon was indeed a pro-communist aim, it was doctored to anti communist and then translated from Swedish to English. My friend Erik is a massive Trump supporter maybe more energized than some Americans are. The cartoon as it is shown here is fully meant to be anti-communist.
Erik and I have discussed the situation there and he tells me it is not good. Gosh what an amazing country and history that might wipe it self out.
