Being from NJ there’s a certain appeal to Bruce, but it’s not all good. I’ve enjoyed his older music to some extent. It’s funny how once stars get rich that’s when the political BS begins to come out.
Bruce fought to retain all his rights to HIS music so he could control the use of HIS music. No big deal there, very free market and capitalistic on his part, just good business. He also found a way to collect royalties from people who perform his music it bars and clubs, I’m not sure how that works but it was an issue many years back when bands were covering his music. Not a very sharing of the wealth but it is his music.
There are a couple of famous people with homes here in NJ and to reduce their property taxes, they claim them as farms or agricultural by raising bees, low impact and just enough per acre. How many bees I don’t know but there are some PO’d residents here in NJ over the hypocrisy of these superstars.
