Just curious, does anyone even care? Dodgers and Rays. BTW, you get to pick or vote on two of the above list. Rams

I can understand that, it's your "home team". I guess the TV ratings will show how much America cares but, with all the current restrictions on what, where and how we have to do things. The WS may win out just cause there isn't much else to entertain us. Me, I've got a "honey do" list longer than my ............ ARM! Rams

Not "definately" but definitely. I am a fan of baseball, it still is our national pastime, tickets to a game are still within the reach of a middle class person (relative to the NFL, the NBA, and the NHL's prices). The game itself has essentially remained the same for over a hundred years: a match between two players, a team of players, two managers: it remains trying to hit a round ball being thrown towards someone trying to hit it with a round bat from a short distance at speeds that make the ball seeming to be the size of an aspirin, trying to pick it up in a hundredth of a second. It has all the cerebral strategy of a chess match with pure athleticism thrown in the mix. The fan has to settle in for a long match that is never over until the last out is recorded. The advent of super slow motion recording of the action reveals that it is a "game of inches" and that the skills of a pitcher can dominate a whole host of finely tuned batters over nine innings of play. For those who don't or can't understand it, just march on and leave us to our joy surrounding our game. Oh yeah, I care too. Pulling for Tampa, but the middle of the Dodgers lineup is pretty tough and their starting pitching is fairly deep. Hope it goes 7

Sports means less to me today than at any point in my life. After awhile it gets hard to get excited about spoiled rich kids playing a game that think they are important. Dan

I won't be watching, I don't get off on guys playing with balls.

Will be watching parts of it. Since the Cubs didn't make it this year(again) I don't have the interest that I normally have. The center fielder for the Rays, Kevin Kiermaier is a local product who went to High School about 3 miles from me. I'm a big baseball fan and am hoping for a Rays' championship since I can't stand teams in California & Texas.

Since we've been wintering in the area I've enjoyed going to Tropicana to watch the Rays, so, I'm hoping for them to win. Especially since I was a big Dodger fan as a youngster playing Little League. But when the bums left Brooklyn I turned against them so I hope they get their behinds kicked.

Tied 2-2 and Game 5 tonight. If it goes 7 the Series will be over on Wednesday. Too bad, it sure is better to watch ball for three hours rather than be assaulted by political ads that are too dumb to comprehend just who is it that gets paid to think up such loads of horseshit. Really good pitching, timely hitting, very good umpiring, great managing, and no surrender from either team. If you like baseball, you gotta be liking this Series. Wish Joe Morgan was giving color commentary rather than John Smoltz (too much pitching focus). Joe knew every precise aspect of the game, both physical and mental, as an expert should.
