It's kinda anticlimactic on an Interstate, especially a used one I purchased at 98,910 miles, but I had the honor the second time of piloting a Valkyrie past the 100,000 mile milestone tonight...

...wait for it.....

...wait for it.....

And done!

Gotta admit, doing it on my Standard was WAY more exciting, and only partially because I'd bought that bike brand new, the whole zero'ing out of the odometer.... Oh well, the Interstate is 1/10th of the way to zeroing out now I 'spose!

That's a milestone alright     not many motorcycles in the motorcycle world make it to 100,000 miles

Don't tell me you were pushing it up and down the driveway for that last tenth mile.   Grin

One of mine crossed over last year.  I tried to watch for it, but paying attention to the road, I missed it by 7 miles.  There's always next time (if I live that long).

BTW, I always try to avoid climaxes when riding my bikes.  And driving the car too, though there was that one time..... (Honey, we're going to have an accident here.  You want me to stop?  Ummmm...)   Cool

will see if I keep my 98 valk that long at 83K now and like you, most of all those miles from 4 or 5 prior owners prior.  It will be awhile though to reach ZERO miles again if I make it that long having 4 scoots to ride?  2 scooters (250 and 650) and 2 valks are a pretty good combo to have IMO.... Cheesy  One thing I like about the scoots are hop on and go shorter rides with more than enough storage to stores, etc. where long distance hwy. speed/power is not needed, although my 638cc will go anywhere the valk will go with comfort/speed to spare as well.  Only thing I will not do on the 650 vs. the VAlks is while going up a steep long hill not passing a car doing 60 mph in such a short distance does not have the 55-80 mph pickup as our Valks do.

I have NO way of Knowing but might the osometer on the I/S be capable of showing a million? RIDE SAFE.

Heh, until we sold our 250cc scooter, we were almost twinkies, had a 250cc scooter, a 600cc scooter and 2 Valks.... And yeah, it is a nice spread to have!

Just assuming but I'd assume the Interstate's odometer would flip back to 0 after 999,999 miles, but I don't have first hand knowledge of that...
