I saw Damon in Taos last year.  He wasn't riding but said he had an Africa Twin.  Haven't heard anything since.

I spoke to them last month.  Damon had broken his leg or hip.  'Lil Bit was doing fine... she's got a few kids now.

He was on the last Darby ride on his African Twin, Chase was along as well and provided some musical entertainment up in Creede.   We need to keep that ride going, hopefully Damon will be back leading it again!

I didn't make it to the Darby ride this year - I was watching for comms on it and there weren't any on this forum or the FB forums I watch.  I don't use the other social media platforms.  I figured it was off, especially since Damon is completely out of the Valkyrie world having divested all of his Valk bikes, parts and support and sold his interest in the VRCC (I'm understanding) and no longer is the focus of the local chapter.  Sold me all of his exhaust cores some time ago.  He was at the Darby ride a year ago on his African twin as was Chase.  We haven't been in touch lately.  Didn't know he got hurt.  I did know he was reducing his road riding due to vision issues which explains selling his road bikes.  But had been enjoying dual-sport type riding the last couple years.  We are about 45 minutes from the Kinter casa.
