Im looking for a heated vest, jacket, or sweatshirt that can run off a battery pack and also work on the bikes electrical system. Thanks

Q. IS 7.4V ALL MIGHTY HEATED GEAR COMPATIBLE WITH THIS W&S 12V HEATED GEAR?

A. NO, THE 7.4V HEATED GEAR USES SMALLER GUAGE WIRING AND COAXIAL CONNECTORS. YOU CAN, HOWEVER, USE A 7.4V BATTERY AND ADAPTOR CABLE TO POWER SOME OF THE 12V HEATED GEAR WITH LIMITED OUTPUT.

I bought one of these for my wife and one for me.  battery seems to last a good long time.  I have worn in the 40's and the bike and playing golf.  Gets pleasantly warm, but not hot.  They have pretty good reviews.  I am thinking about adding socks.

Don't know if you  can  do both  12v and batt pack.  You will  want  to have  heat around your  neck. Have a gerbing vest, nice.

there was a DIY option years ago that was posted on the net.  Ran off bike no battery.

I have a set of Tourmaster Synergy heated gear. Jacket, pants, and gloves. Had them for years. They work great, but are no longer made.

I too have the Tourmaster heated jacket and I must say that it is warm even without being energized!

Gerbing and Firstgear here.

My Valkyries get put away for the year before temps get to the point where I need to break out the heated stuff - which is worn when I have the late fall/winter/early spring bikes out doing their thing.

I integrated the Heat-Trollers into an unused area of the dashes on both bikes, and a Powerlet receptacle fed straight from the battery through a Fuze Block allows me to connect an inline controller to power a pair of pants liners and heated socks, if needed. I can adjust upper and lower body heating individually as desired.

I'd looked at a two-piece Gerbing suit and a one-piece heated Aerostitch. One of those is definitely on my list if I spend more than a little time doing  inclement weather riding.
