The story is, supposedly, he created this so he could take the whole family down the Tail of the Dragon at the same time...

Made me think of “Hang’n TEN from back when I thought I could surf.
That wasn’t a good idea either.

Well, judging by mama sitting in the very back a hard braking isn't going to cause that contraption to do a nose dive. In case of an accident, he obviously will be the first one there. Kind of a foolish creation in my mind but....

Pointless? Yes, to most.  Stupid or dangerous? Probably.   Legal? Depends on local vehicle safety standards I guess.
I for one however, always have a certain amount of admiration for those who stray a little of the beaten path when it comes to not only thinking up, but actually carrying through with creating things like this that they think are useful, cool, sensible, etc... cooldude

Much like the cabovers I used to drive he Will be first at the scene of the accident. I personally applaud the engineering involved But I do NOT desire a test hop. I wish him and his family well. RIDE SAFE.

cooldude the ingenuity of some people is pretty cool. I'm sure I've made mods to a bike over the last 48 years that would be not approved of either. I've found bikes, girlfriends, wives are all pretty personal tastes. I try not to criticize either.

Yes a cruise. We docked in Haines on June 3, 2015. Everyone got off the ship and onto the ferry for Skagway. We did not have tickets for the ferry, so we toured Haines. And all the folks who went to Skagway missed the Hammer Museum.

Very cool ! I don't think you missed anything in Skagway. Mostly touristy stuff nowadays. Southeast Alaska is beautiful. I hope someday you get a chance to see some more of AK.  cooldude
