Trump wins. I can not remember any Presidential candidate or incumbent put in the effort and time to get his message out to the American people. I had a busy day today. I got up and had breakfast, watched some Fox News, assembled a cabinet for the utility room, had a shower and shave and took off for Corbin Kentucky to pick up one last cabinet for my kitchen, returned to Richmond and dropped off the cabinet then travelled on to Winchester Kentucky to pick up some more stone for my fireplace surround, since I was only about 15 miles from Lexington, I continued on to see my grandkids. Then it was back to Richmond for a late supper at our favorite Mexican place and back to the house. All told, about 150 miles and I’m tuckered out.
How Trump does what he does day after day is beyond me other than to say he must love what he does and intends to do it better than anyone else.

Do Not Know how P O T U S Trump does it but at a couple points in my life I could and have slept on concrete the wing of an aircraft on the ship at night leaned over the steering wheel of my big truck(s). And just recently I have dozed off in the big office chair I have in frony of my puter. You Can learn to adapt and go on. FOUR MORE YEARS. RIDE SAFE.

and here I thought this would not be a political thread? It isn't. It is simply a critical analysis, and an excellent example, of maximum effort vs maximum reward.

When we had my father-in-law living with us, both Barbara and I lived on 4 hours sleep a night for over a year. The man didn’t sleep and would cause issues and wreak havoc almost all night every night. Every night was the same over and over with some “real interesting” and sometimes scary interactions.
He’d fall asleep usually after 2 am and sleep until about 6-7. I would send her to bed about 10pm and sit up on guard duty until about 2am or so and she’d handle the the rest until she left for work at 5:30, then I’d return to,guard duty. We tried everything in our power to get that man to sleep. From prescription Xanax to melatonin, to allergy med like benedryl nothing worked and because of his heart condition we couldn’t find a doctor that would give him anything stronger. We kinda got lucky when he was prescribed Haldol for his temper and anger but it eventually made him immobile and almost vegetative.
I adjusted my work schedule so I could be off Tuesday and Thursday so I could get 2 hours of sleep in the late morning after I dropped him off at adult day care, which was 9-2.
It’s been just over a year now that he’s been living in a memory care facility and I still haven’t been able to readjust to a full night sleep.
When I’m read about The President’s schedule I can relate but don’t know how he does it. The guy doesn’t seem to stop, it must be how he’s conditioned himself over the decades to be on top of managing of his projects as well as investments and the markets.

God I feel sorry for you. I have big time problems falling BACK to sleep after getting up to go pee - 900 mg Gabapentin slows down my brain, but I think I'm adjusting to it.

This happens to me a lot too, although I’m not taking anything to help me sleep. Not having a job to go to everyday takes away some of the anxiety about getting back to sleep. I usually lay there in the darkness and thank God for all he has blessed me with and ask for forgiveness for all my failings. Sometimes that keeps me awake a little longer but I usually end these stretches with laying my burdens at his feet knowing I can’t fix anything by myself.

So I'm watching a Trump rally tonight. His last one of the day. He looks a bit tired.
But it is his 5th rally of the day. THE FIFTH!
As I watch the end of his last rally of the day, in Florida, it is midnight here. That means his last rally ends at 1am.
He is doing another 5 rallies tomorrow.
Tens of thousands attending them.
Geez, Biden can't touch this.
The media should be panning this retched excuse of a Biden campaign.

Yeah, I get that too. Usually putting The Weather Channel on, on a very low volume works for me.

I usually read something, Popular Mechanics or National Geographic or some interesting video on youtube. If I TRY to sleep it's wide awake time. Trying to stay awake knocks me out. Note it's 4:17am and I should be sleeping... Oh well I can nap later if needed.
