18 years ago today was my "deer encounter."

Ouch.  Not my favorite two-tone paint job.

I remember that too.  That was the second thing I remember about F6gal.  First was a picture of your bike doing a burn out against a piece of concrete somewhere.

I'm glad you fared better than did the deer.

R.I.P., deer.  It probably wouldn't have lived to this anniversary even with the best of medical attention.

Wow that’s a little more than a touch of red.

Best of wishes on your anniversary.

Stay safe out there.

I remember that too. That gets your full attention.

It was about the same time-line, I had a small buck cross into the road and I started around behind him. He decided to swap ends and jumped over the front fender just missing the forks and wind screen. A nano-second and it would have ended up like you.

Can you describe the impact and surrounding circumstances pre and post impact. It is so much blood.

I remember that time well too. I don’t recall if the bike got retired in that incident or not.

Oh deer!    C'mon; somebody had to say it.  Roll Eyes

Years before my time on this board, but I'm glad you're still here to share the memory of the incident.

Wow have I really been here that long?

I don't know if I would want to remember that.
