I've also been reading about the basic psychology of left and right.  A lot of people say it's just left brain logic vs right brain emotion (which seems exactly backwards  ).

The theory is that people are either left-brained or right-brained, meaning that one side of their brain is dominant.  If you're mostly analytical and methodical in your thinking, you're said to be left-brained. If you tend to be more creative or artistic, you're thought to be right-brained.

But for President Trump the Republican Senate candidate was very close to the President in votes recorded. This is typical in Presidential races that the down ticket is often carried by the Presidential candidate.
