Well, actually snow on an ice base.  Not unheard of, but a little out of the ordinary for here on Christmas morning.  I actually was not dreaming of a white Christmas, but I know it's fulfilled the wishes of some of my younger relatives.

You all be safe and have a very merry Christmas.

Actually, we are shortly headed out over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house.  Honestly, grandmother has been gone for a long time now.  We're going to our daughter's house.   Whatever happened to those respected traditions in which the younger came to visit the elder?  It's just as well.  I wouldn't want the little ones out in it.  If anything tragic does happen my fare is paid and I'm ready to take the ride.

You all enjoy the sunshine.  You seemed to have just missed it by a bit.  I did see that the system that dumped this stuff on us stretched at one time to halfway between Dallas and Houston.

You have a good way with words Willow. I especially like "the fare is paid and I'm ready to take the ride."
Merry Christmas to you and your family. Be safe, we want to see ya next year.  cooldude

We’ve had nothing but rain, and some sleet.  Kind of sad, I was really hoping to get a ton of snow.  I actually enjoy snow blowing.  We’ve got two widows that live on our street and they make me pie and cookies when ever I do their driveway!  I’m not 50#’s over weight for nothing you know!

Plenty of the whie stuff over here in Toepicker, Willow.  Had to shovel the car out of the garage to get to work today,  Blades haven't been to the campus yet today, got 2 cop cars stuck on campus and I had to park off campus and walk in.   police Hoser
