takes over come January and attempts to enforce ALL BUSINESSES SHUTDOWN for 2-4 weeks to stop the spread of Covid?   I know there are talks about shutting down all businesses locally in Dane county nearby since the infection rate is so high that all hospitals are near maxed out with covid patients right now.

I know local places in certain areas are enforcing lockdowns on certain types of non essential businesses, but what it if goes for all places and more than just local cities, etc.? 

Do you think even 50% of the businesses in Dane County (or anywhere) will be on LOCKDOWN and who will enforce it?  The police? National Guard? 

What about all the people like my kid, or much much worse, who needs that weekly paycheck to pay monthly rent and if not working, does not get paid?  I guess we all can do what he is doing and give plasma in his area and get paid for doing it like NO joke 50-70 bucks per visit ever week or so.  He says is not that bad for little over 1 hour out of his day and get paid say 50 bucks per hour, that is GREAT money.  OH wait,  forgot,  businesses will be closed so cannot give plasma (blood) either.  duh!

Standard socialist plan.  Once you take away the jobs, people need money. Then you can, as in we have seen in New York, put a stop to the need to pay rent.  People still need money, government handouts.

Once the dictional powers are in place, as we have  now in many states, they will remain a standard for future use, pandemics not needed only the rumor of one. 

Does anyone not think that our enemies have noted what our reaction to the "Pandemic" has been?

How interesting it is that there are some "essential" businesses that are not affected. 

But church meeting are not allowed, removing religion from the people.  Obviously not needed since they have not occurred for some time in many states.

For the sake of discussion let's say after all is said and done Biden is the next President and is inaugurated  in Jan.

What will happen...

The media will go from tracking cases of Covid and death to reporting recoveries and recovery rates and falling case numbers.
There will be no change in this from the current stats it will just be reported from that new perspective.
98+ recovery rates which will lead to less testing mandates.
The Credit for the "new" recovery rates and all good things will go to Pelosi and Biden.

They will take credit for the recovery rates and forgo the masking mandate. They will open the entire country because they will want to tax everything in sight.

I would argue that they would not do that.

The first thing that they will need to do is to "show who is in command".  National Mask Mandate.

Next, shutdown for two to four weeks (coldest part of the year, virus spreads more) and allow for the vaccine to be administered to the most susceptible citizens (well anyone does not matter as long as you show up for a shot). 

Next, a staged and planned re-opening, again showing who is in charge. 

Oh and during the shutdown, lots of free funds...

For these people they need to show who is in charge so we do not forget who we should bow to. 

And don't forget, if Biden becomes President he will be owned by China.  His son is in a very precarious position which needs to be protected.  And Joe will do that.  Which means removal of all the tariffs that are now in place.  Also re-joing the WHO which is also owned by China.  These things are not conjecture.

never say never, a lockdown for all could happen for 3-4 weeks or so.  Sorry for duplicate4 posting in same thing that Jersey Mike brought up about Biden Lockdown.   I would think that near 1/2 of the US citizens could make a go of it for 4-5 weeks at HOME lockdown but what about groceries, etc?    The other 1/2 need food and work to pay bills.  Most could do a 2 week lockdown, but not nearly as many I think if it goes 4 weeks lockdown or more.

• Quarantining healthy people is absurd on its face.
• If masks work, why would we need a lock-down?
• For a lock-down to be effective, EVERYTHING would have to be closed, not just certain sectors (which is unrealistic).
• If a lock-down does not close EVERYTHING, then the virus is still being circulated and cases will spike when we re-open (as we've seen).

I have been exposed to CV/C-19 on numerous occasions at work.  5 of our office staff have contracted it, despite strict masking of staff and patients.  Guess what though?  I haven't gotten it.  You can protect yourself with diligent adherence to frequent hand-washing, no face touching, and distancing as much as possible.  I am extremely diligent.  My husband is on anti-rejection meds, so he has essentially no immune system.  If I bring it home, it would likely kill him.  

Our strategy should be:

• Diligent adherence to personal prevention methods.
• People stay home if they start feeling ill.
• Protect the elderly and vulnerable populations.
• If we're going to use masks, wear them properly and use proper masks (not ridiculous cloth face coverings).

At least a medical mask.  An N95 would be better, but that would have to be properly fitted to be fully effective.

P.S.  Do NOT keep touching your mask and face.  Do NOT pull down the mask to cough or sneeze.
