I'm guessing Austin Healey Sprite, but my British auto knowledge is definitely lacking.

I am not sure of the MBG, but my 1959 MGA was a 4 cylinder.  My wife's Spitfire was, as I remember it also a 4 cylinder.

The 1963 Austin Healy 3000 I had was a six cylinder but I thought the bonnet opening was bigger than pictured.  Don't remember the number of carbs on the Austin Healy 3000.

That looks suspiciously like my old Austin Healey or Spitfire.

And man I don't ever want another one of those.

The only difference between the Austin Healey Sprite and MG Midget, was wire wheels on the Midget.

At 17, I bought a '62 Sprite for $450.  Three months later, it needed a new clutch, transmission and center bearing.... for a lot more than $450.  I didn't pay for the estimate, I just signed the title over to the mechanic.  And he was not happy about that at all.

And my dad's like.... what did I tell you????

How could I pass this up?   crazy2

Mine already had a bunch of rust.

Yep and his 3000 pic is of a (straight) 6-cylinder engine.  My Sprite was a 4 (and slower than my VW Grin).

The Austin-Healey 3000 was announced on 1 July 1959 with a 3-litre BMC C-Series engine
