You hear stuff like that all the time. One would think that in any race, if more votes were received than were physically possible, it would immediately invalidate the vote, since it is incontrovertible evidence of fraud or some other irregularity. Why is it accepted? Are the stories not true, or do people just not care?

For the most part I would guess that a candidate would have long since conceded before the final vote tallies are made official and the discrepancies noted.
The question is does one pursue it? It takes a bunch of money and time to investigate such things. So even if you do pursue it, civilly or criminally, if the remedy will not change the outcome why pursue it?
This time around is different. Everyone knows the fraud was coming big time. Everyone is and was watching for it. The evidence of fraud abounds. This time there are remedies that can change the perceived outcome. Nationwide.
The incredible statistics point to it too.
One that I love is that Joe Biden, a 76 year old white politician, supposedly got more popular votes than.....Barak Obama.
Another is that Biden supposedly gets record votes in a Presidential Election yet the Democrat down ballots spectacularly under perform.
Even Democrats are going "Hey, wait a minute...."
