on Tues to stop and get an easel, canvas, and paint. After surgery to remove an ear I had an unresistable urge to start painting portraits. Maybe someday soon I'll have my own museum.

Couldn't resist the urge

I've heard that several times in my line of work.

It's almost never a good excuse, and a poor criminal defense.   Grin

In my 67 years, I have never heard of that being done. Please explain if you don't mind.

Begs the question....if losing an ear causes a person to want to paint, what if you lose another appendage, what does that cause one to want to do?  OK....I'm talking about fingers or a hand you perverts.  Grin

I went thru a bout of throat cancer [ SCC/HPV ] a few years ago.  It was misdiagnosed for 2 years until I found a doctor that had actually gone to school and studied medicine. But by that time it was stage 4.

Now the same type returned [ they claim not related, of course] and showed up in the ears. This only went improperly diagnosed for 6-8 months. I think this time its all on me, I said no sun was a deal breaker. I guess now I'll be wearing the big-ass hats.
