I unplugged and checked all connections to everything and the battery is brand new and on a trickle charge, I remember when it was running I could hear a relay click when I turned the key on but everything is just completely dead and the only 12 volts I have is at point of where they should be with the ignition off, man usually I can find the problem but I’m pissing in the wind with this.

When you’re checking voltage, make sure you’re checking from frame and fuse not from battery. If you get power to main fuse and frame turn on ignition and make sure it doesn’t drop off under load. May be a bad ground.  Are you getting power through the ignition switch?

I checked the grounds and that’s where I ground my test light or meter and I’m not getting nothing threw my ignition switch at all

The only place I have battery voltage is at the battery and the starter solenoid where the battery is hooked up to and the main fuse link everything else is absolutely dead key off or on doesn’t matter I’m so stumped and it’s probably something stupid right in front of me

Lets kind of start fresh.

Look at page 375 of the Honda service manual. There is a schematic that will help you trace out the circuit.
If you do not have the manual it is available on the forum.

Connect a meter set to DC volts between a good ground on the frame and 30 amp fuse. Check the top and the bottom of the fuse.

If the fuse is blown, there is a spare in the cover, but it may pay to figure out what blew a 30 amp fuse before replacing it. It would be something grounded.

If you have voltage through the 30 amp fuse then
Put the bike in neutral, and the side stand down.

Turn on the ignition switch.

If you have a Neutral indicator light, and a side stand indicator light the 30 Amp the 10 amp fuse shown below the ignition switch are good.

If you do not get the Neutral indicator light, and a side stand indicator light, check the 10 amp fuse.
Check the 10 amp fuse in the top line with the bank angle sensor.

If you haven’t found it yet, report back and we will go from the results you found.

Did you buy an oem starter relay?

If not, is the 'B' and 'M' markings oriented the same as on the old relay?

Ok I’m now in no mans land, I had a friend bring his Valkyrie over and we switched out the starter solenoid relay and now I have 12 volts and all my lights came on but I tried to start it but nothing so I got the book out and tested the start stop switch, starter switch, side stand, neutral, all the switches as per the manual and everything checked out good so I went and ordered a solenoid from the dealer which will be in 2days so we put the solenoid back in my buddy’s bike and now his won’t start, so I have 2 Valkyries that all the lights come on now but wont start, how could this happen by just switching over the solenoids ? I think I need a break

Are you sure in switching things you haven't blown a fuse ?

Ok good news , the original bike I was working on is now running, I put a good working solenoid on but while I was checking everything out I put the bank angle sensor on the middle cover upside down , I noticed it while I was going threw the manual and the picture shows the round part down and on the bike I was working on it was up so it was showing I was upside down , not a very smart move , I flipped it over and the bike started right up, so now to my buddies bike I still don’t know why it won’t start but now he was telling me he never uses the kill switch because it is going bad and I know for a fact that I used it , so I’m going to check it out tomorrow I’m done working on these bike for now. Thanks for the replies

Hey ! Now you are getting somewhere.  cooldude I never use my kill button either. When I have, I've had to cycle it a few times to get it working.

. Before cleaning my kill switch, I found holding the start button while toggling the kill switch helped. It would make contact and hold it better with current running through it.

On one bike the starter solenoid relay was bad I put one on from another bike and I had problems because I had the bank sensor upside down and on the other bike that I took the solenoid from the kill switch went bad cleaned it out and it was fine but I had to get a solenoid from the Honda dealer $72 I had one from Amazon for $12 took a chance and it burnt up quick, I don’t know if you understand all this but anyway both are running
