Never trust the weatherman

Saturday's forecast called for heavy cloud, wind, and heavy rain with possible sleet in the afternoon out here. About 9 AM it didn't look half bad so I packed a lunch and went fishing for a couple hours up at Elbow Lake. Coming home around noon, the roads were all dry, there was no wind to speak of, and there was even a hint of sunshine poking through the high cloud cover here and there. So, a quick change and out for a nice unexpected ride
That snowline on the mountains is sure starting to come down pretty quick now though...
New tires just came in the other day for the Valk, so in a couple weeks she comes off the road for annual services and some other stuff I want to get done this year. Good thing about having the old Wing now with cheap Collector insurance, I have a bike ready to go any time we get a decent weather day throughout the Winter

Nice!!!!
My weather app said it will be dry until 3pm... jumped on the bike, warmed her up, made it for about 3 blocks and then got rained on.
Went to see my buddy Mike for a "coffee" in Fort Langley and then went to Holeshot to look at some gear and bikes. That new Tenere would be the perfect adventure bike... I think I fell in love!
