Four months old today and still trying to get used to having a granddaughter. She will probably be our one and only so spoiled won’t come close to what will transpire over the coming years. So 2020 wasn’t all that bad for the Smith family.

Precious Smiley You got that right f6john, that little cutie can make up for all the other crap that's happened this year. Our only grandchild to date just turned 14 months...unfortunately she's over 12 hours North of us so we've been watching her grow up for the most part on video chat Sad. It's tough not being able to play with her and experience her  growing up first hand outside of the half dozen times we've been able to get together up there or down here, but it is what it is. Hopefully our youngest daughter is blessed sometime in the not too distant future...they're only 4 hours away Smiley

Thanks Rob, we think so too.

Hopefully they live close together, they’ll be just like sisters. Olivia’s 5 year old twin brothers were very early too, weighing in at 2lbs each, Olivia was full term and weighed more than both the boys combined.

A real cutie indeed, love that smile. And since we're talking about great grandkids, here's a shot I took last night of Lucy and mama, Chelsea. She works a full day while my daughter Toni(grandma) takes care of the little one. It appears mama is pooped out as well. Lucy will be 3 mo. old on T'giving day, Chelsea is 28. Dad also works and often their schedules for work conflict with each other but my daughter loves the job of babysitting. Be interesting to see how long that lasts. Wink  I remember holding mama Chelsea when she was about the same age. Kinda tugged at this old man's heart.  smitten

I feel for you! We were in a position to sell out and move across the state to help take care of our grandsons when they were born. I think my wife and I both have a really deep connection with them since we spent 24/7 with them for their first 3 years of life.

Great picture John, pure harmony right there. I’ll bet grandma holds up just fine!
