Going to be rollin' out soon for a ride down to the north Georgia mountains. Lunch at Two Wheels Only in Sushes. Meeting a couple friends for lunch 12:00  / 1:00 anyone in the area come join us. Great roads made for motorcycling. I'll be on my Goldwing. Going to spend the night in Clayton , Ga. Not going to be many more nice sunny weekends with awesome temps as we head toward Thanksgiving.

Told ya that Wing would ruin ya cooldude
Once ya get used to the difference in the steering geometry the thing jus' glides through the curves. I HATED it at first... then once I settled into the saddle I almost couldn't make the Valky turn anymore ??? ("Log Truck" Cry) Still miss the ol' 2K/IS, but don't think I'd ride one very much so haven't seriously looked at another one.

Glad ya had a good ride!
Bike's lookin' sharp as a straight razor!

We were up "The Hill" yesterday... teasing Harleys tickedoff
(for the first 5 or 6 turns they actually thought they could catch us 2funny)

Thankful for alota things, but this sums it up mostly...

Happy Holidays!
Miss ya man!
Ride safe...
Peace my Brother Cool

The Cobras on Joes bike sound really good.

A couple of times I had to look in the mirror to check what was behind me.

He pull the baffles?
Mine have rusted out the welds at the connection to the cats.
(left one's only holding on by a thread!)
Jus' got a new set of Cobra flush cut with tips... caint wait to get the baffles out and install. Curious to see if it changes the tone.
Should sound pretty similar to this...

Yes dry. Looked at my phone this morning and it looked like it would get wet if I hanged around long. More I rode the better it got.

From TWoS.

Given the rise in Covid 19 cases in GA,  the recommendation against Thanksgiving travel, combined with the weather forecast for next weekend, we have decided that today was our last day of the season for 2020.  We will not be open the weekend after Thanksgiving as originally planned.   This will also give our staff an opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families. We thank all of our customers for their support in 2020.  It has been an especially difficult year for all of us.  Look forward to a better 2021.

smokinjoe,

Is that a russell day long seat on that newer goldwing?  IF so,  does it NOT sit you so upright as the stock goldwing seats do?  I just think the more upright no wiggle room of the stock 2001 on up goldwing OEM seats do not fit me too well since too upright of riding style.   AS much as I have looked and test drove a few say 2004 thru 2008 goldwings the past few years in that 7-8K range just does not do it for me, at least not yet anyways willing to give up either VAlkyrie for one.

I took out and woke up the neighborhood one last time this past weekend cobras on the 98 tourer 1st gear at 15 mph thru town and everyone was staring at me in my dinky one main drag town like what the HECK is that thing coming on down the road sounds like a top fuel dragster in 1st gear at 15 mph.   cooldude   But, if I granny shift and keep rpms down low even at hwy speeds below 65 mph the loudness does not bother me too much longer distance riding get used to it.
