My wife got me a Sony X Series Walkman for Christmas it has amazing sound from something so small . I've loaded 256 songs on it so far and only made a little line on the storage bar. I'll never fill this thing with songs it claims it will hold up to 8,000 . Going tomorrow to Radio Shack and get the hook-up to plug into my Interstate.

With Joe, that thing may not hold enough songs to last until he quits riding for the day !    2funny

I know you can buy them from sites like napster ( 14.95 month ) but I just loaded what I wanted off my collection today. I've got several more to go before I'm done.Does anyone know if we can trade tunes over the net ?

Hey Joe,
My son loaded a program called "Limewire" on my computer and it is all free! cooldude My wife's Ipod claims it has 2.5 days worth of music on it so far, and like you say, it has hardly made a dent in it and I haven't paid a penny for any of them.
Google "Limewire" and load their free service. There is also one that you can pay for, but so far, we haven't found any need to.

Back in the day I use to download free " share " music off the net but started getting some nasty spy-ware and virus stuff that pretty much trashed my old computer. Thanks for the info I'll look into that after I get what I have in my collection loaded.

Joe, do you get the title and artist when you load them from cd's ? I was doing that on my MP3 but without titles. don't really care about the artist. If I own it, I know the artist. Just wonderin'.

I know mine did. Except for the burnt cd I put on mine. They had numbers.
