What mount are you using for onboard video?

I use a Contour HD Camera. The company is no longer in business but their cameras are still available on Ebay and other places.  

There are two ways I can mount it.  The first picture shows the mount that comes with the camera and works well (will link a video with that compared to the other way).  The issue is that I have to stop to turn the camera On and then Off.  Not a big deal just a deal.

The second picture shows the mount that I use on the windscreen.  Its allows me to control the camera easily but it suffers from more vibration from the windscreen.

The difference between the two is the vibration.  I have tried to use a program to take out the vibration but have not had any success.

My GoPro has tons of mounting options, for 20 bucks I got a kit full of different ways to do it.
 
Getting good video on a ride is more complicated than I first thought, or maybe I'm just too lazy or busy to mess around with it right now. Then there's all the other stuff, downloading, editing, hosting.. and also long term storage.. you definitely have to go through a learning curve.

For now I've shelved it as I'm too busy working to mess around with it.

I use RAM Mounts.

They aren't cheap but they are hard to beat.

I second that.  Ram has mounts for everything, it seems.  A bit pricey, but VERY strong.  Ram has a whole lot of different arms, fixtures, suction cups, magnet mounts for virtually every conceivable use.
