I use a Contour HD Camera. The company is no longer in business but their cameras are still available on Ebay and other places.
There are two ways I can mount it. The first picture shows the mount that comes with the camera and works well (will link a video with that compared to the other way). The issue is that I have to stop to turn the camera On and then Off. Not a big deal just a deal.
The second picture shows the mount that I use on the windscreen. Its allows me to control the camera easily but it suffers from more vibration from the windscreen.
