Horseshoe crabs

I knew about them being bleed and that they have blue blood, but didn't know what the blood as being used for.  also interesting about getting things bacteria free.  I would say all these disinfects and alcohol really do nothing per the article. I read a medical report over ten yrs ago that the alcohol swipe on the skin before getting an injection does nothing. most hospitals now use a different chemical than alcohol, who knows how safe that is.
