The middle eastern muslim mindset respects one thing & one thing only. Power. We {the United States} have it and it's high time we put it to proper use. It's obvious that the "good muslims" are not capable of handleing the radicals. The radicals that control the populace to the point that attacks happen need to be relentlessly hunted down and eliminated AT ALL COSTS. The radicals over there CANNOT be placated by anything we do or say, they will hate us no matter what. One day the folks in charge around here will figure that out, hopefully before it's too late.  The end results will be understood by the peaceful muslims. The PC led approach to the problem IS NOT working. |

Willow - I'm sure you've seen the clip, and I'm sure it was nothing more than a slip up (Heck, I know I'd be flubbing all kinds of things under that kind of pressure. Put enough cameras on me, enough pressure, enough reporters asking similar but slightly twisted questions, and I'm sure someone would catch me accidentally saying I ride a Harley or something else just as heinous!), but the words did come out of his mouth... Kinda...

Yesterday, I wrote to US Congressman Solomon Ortiz Jr. (D-TX) and asked him why Islam is not on a list of hate groups.
I don't know if he'll have someone translate this into TexMex so I'm not really expecting an answer. Perhaps some of you folks with English-speaking Congressmen could write and find this out for me.

The simple answer is that the president was raised as a Muslim overseas. He has specifically instructed TSA not to appear to be profiling Muslims. Actually I don't want to profile Muslims at all. I want to simply ban them from US flagged aircraft. If they want to recreate Mohammed's 8th century paradise, fine, they can swim across the Atlantic.
