I've been watching less news lately. More American Pickers, Maine Cabin Masters, and some other stuff. Don't get me wrong, I still watch a fair amount of news. But, I'm adjusting. We've had Netflix for years, but I never bothered. My wife got me watching a few episodes of "Comes the Midwife". It wasn't bad. Usually a nice, thought provoking theme to them. She watched the entire series. I only watched a dozen episodes or so. I was rummaging thru and I came across "The Crown". Watched them all. Really getting into these British soap operas.  Shocked 2020 is doing serious mental damage. Started something called "Outlander" last night. I'm really digging this one.

I might need an intervention. I'm contemplating "Great British Bake Off" next.  Smiley

I'm afraid I won't be able to help you out. I own all but the current season of Outlander on Blu ray and the wife owns every one of the books.  One is autographed by the author.  The Great British Baking Show is not bad. I think season 6 was my favorite.

Does it cost anything to watch Netflix? Don't think I've ever watched anything on there but might worth checking it out, it's too cold to do much of anything else up here except....well, not that since I live alone.  Wink

Netflix is becoming greedy as all the rest are.  Raising rates mthly next month to 13.99 was like 12.99 and few years ago ONLY 10.99.  Thinking of cancelling only watch movies, etc. a few times per month is it really worth 14 bucks per month?  We have Amazon prime as well as well as Dish satellite.  Paying around 100 bucks per month for NOT MUCH to watch is getting too rich for my blood between dish and netflix.

NO way do we get our 100 bucks per month worth out of the TV watching for a few hours Monday thru Friday at night and half the day or so on weekends.

Not sure if on netflix or amazon prime, but if into something very odd and sorta funny in a sexual sort of way,  watch Californication series where a middle age guy hooks up with younger women.  One episode was UNREAL who would have thought of such an episode of sexual weirdness only from someone with a very disturbed mind on that episode for sure. coolsmiley

There was nothing on TV few nights ago so was on netflix or amazon prime,  watched Porky's and Porky's Revenge from my very young teenage years of 1982/83 or so.  VERY weird,  I must have watched those movies so much some near 40 years ago that I remember each event like it was still yesterday.   Somehow I thought they were funnier as a teenager though  Roll Eyes

Outlander is best when watched from the first episode.  Many are hard to watch for the average person. It is a great series. Supposed to come back on again.

Yes , I have created many new recipes and improved some older ones.

Outlander is an excellent series and it must be watched from Season 1 Episode 1.

The wife and I are anxiously awaiting the next season.

If you have Starz you can watch the seasons that aren't on Netflix.

While I most certainly agree.

There are many other good looking women in the series as well.

Time for my book report. I finished watching the 3 seasons that are on Netflix last night. I have mixed feelings about the series. The premise of the show and the history of the Scots is very interesting to me. But, I could have done without the gay sex parts. Thankfully those were few. I don't know if I will watch the other seasons on Starz like Gryphon pointed out. I feel kind of "invested" in Claire, so I might.  Smiley

Netflix, in a new series called “Cuties,” is blatantly sexualizing little girls. And tens of thousands have already signed a petition demanding the show’s removal from public streaming.

But how could such a horrifying show make it past the pitch room in the first place?

Netflix, the media company that panders to the pedophile crowd. What a brand concept.
