Yes,, I failed to mention that those pictures were taken with a 35mm camera with, obviously, color film (you know the old fashioned stuff). 

I forget how long the exposure was and I am pretty sure I did not stack them (would have required having someone scan them and while it was available back then...)...

The fact they are 'blurry" is because it probably because it was an extended exposure.  I just tried to go back the local Astronomy Club's website to see if I could get an idea of what I might have done, exposure and film wise and no information. 

I was going to try to start taking some astrophotos again, purchased the electronic book on the process and wow!   It is complicated. 

With my Cookbook 245 CCD camera, I just had to put it in the scope, make sure it was aligned and just start taking images.  Then they would be stacked by the computer. 

But today, you need other images and it seems its not as simple as it use to be..
