Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Seems like a hobby I've taken interest in as of late. I'd have one once or twice a yr at a special occasion but not really a "premium" cigar. Had the pleasure of partaking at a cigar lounge in Indianapolis 2 weekends ago. It was called Burn by Rocky Patel. Only 5 in the US. They were helpful in the humidor the size of a 2 car garage. Ended up with a Rocky Patel vintage 1999. Paired with my Gentleman Jack it was awesome. Half the clientele were women which was cool. I have a humidor coming in a week. Hope to get some more Rocky Patels to fill it.

Rocky Patel 1990's were my go to for quite a while, then I went to Nub my Olivia Cameroon, which I still quite like.

I've recently become pretty loyal to Perdomo's in general, specifically the Perdomo Champagne 10th Anniversary.

Being an ex-cigarette smoker and wanting to make SURE I don't go back down that path, I prefer sticks that have a decent flavor but overall lower nicotine levels, and the Champagne fits the bill for that quite nicely.

Edit to add - Love this pic someone got of me at the Ren Faire a few years back, enjoying a stick in the rain...

That's in the past, Mark. I haven't had a cigar in over 15 months.

I don't care for cigars, mostly because it takes forever to smoke one.  I am partial to the smell of pipe tobacco though.  I don't smoke one regurlarly but I've been known to enjoy some cherry blend in one of my dad's old pipes on the porch of our cabin in the mountians now and then.

Ride Safe,

When I did smoke cigars my favorite was Padron 64 Anniversary Series. Smoothest smoke I had.

I love (a nice name for addiction) all tobacco. Grin

Except chew and snuff, man that is some terrible caca-stuff.   Tongue

12-22

Greg (Fazer) has been known to fire up a cigar after our group rides.

Perhaps he can chime in re: his preferred stogie.

I usually like a Churchill style Ashton... mild, burns well... plan on 30 -45 min to enjoy....

Found almost anywhere they sell decent cigars.

If you don't slobber all over your ceegar, they can be allowed to go out and lit later with little downside.

Though I prefer the smaller/medium ones, the big ones are just a little too phallic for my liking (though they can be nice and mild).
