My HP laptop is fighting with me! Does anyone have a Windows 10 boot disk they can copy or just send to me? Of course if it's an original that gets sent I will return it. If you can help please

If you can, boot images are available from Microsoft. Once you have that, you can put it on DVD or on a USB stick (8GB recomended).

If you have access to another computer, you can create a boot disc, or a boot USB thumb drive (More common now) from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10If you can't get that working, I can create one and drop it in the mail, but with the USPS being the way it is right now no telling when you'd get it... |

My H P laptop had slowed to less than a crawl. My Brother has a whiz bang computer geek living in one of his apartments. He replaced the H P hard drive? with a Samsung 860 EVO V-NAND SSD 500 GB. My puter now acting like it's a turbocharged meth head-FAST FAST FAST. And well WAY Less than a new laptop. Do NOT Know Paul if this is helpful to your problem or not. RIDE SAFE.

I've replaced all the hard drives in all the laptops with that Samsung family except for 2 - one is the Wife's that already had a good SSD drive, and the Lenovo that I had that the fan makes alot of noise on . Going to an SSD from a regular Harddrive (especially the slow ones on laptops) is unbelievable - my replacement machine is ready for Windows 10 login in 15 seconds - the old 4 GB core 2 Dell Inspiron 1710 running WIn 10 32 bit is just a tad slower.
If you're thinking your PC (laptop OR desktop) needs something to speed it up - I 100% recommend putting in an SSD for your boot device - keep your hard disc drive for data storage.

PM me your mailing address (Here or on FB, whichever's easier) and I'll slap a USB boot disk together and drop it in the mail, but finding someone local will likely be a LOT quicker... (My mother in law sent me my birthday card on the 8th from SC, it got here yesterday, just as an example..) |

Even with the shutdowns, our local library is open only for people who need computer access. I assume (but do not know) that one could burn a CD (or at least download a file to a USB driver memory stick) with the library computer.
Maybe there is something similar near you?
