Santa has determined that my granddaughter is going to get a pug. We his faithful elves have been hiding it for a few days now.

I’ve got a bit of a “playoff beard” going on...but I guess a covid beard. Normally I try to keep it under control but have given up. I’ll have to wait til spring and I can get the lawnmower out of the snow bank.

My mom always said.... if you are giving gifts to children of people you don't care for, make it a drum set or a bag of whistles.  

Her other proverb was.... two things you can't talk to people about, their kids and their dogs.
