Me and my Valk at Freedom Rock

« on: December 23, 2020, 01:20:41 PM »

Yesterday it is near 50 degrees. I am out and about town as MOTORCYCLE SANTA.

Our local bank was giving out free cheesecakes. Large ones. I didn't know what they were doing, but saw the line of cars leading into the drive of the bank and just got in line.

Got to the first gal and asked her "What you guys doing?"

She shouts "SANTA!" Tells me about the cheesecake giveaway and then the whole show stops until the crew at the bank gets the above photo shot with SANTA!

Almost have a cult following now.

It has been so nice for most of the month. Been out 4-5 times a week just this month. Even taking the show on the road to other nearby towns, which I've never done before.

So anyway...

Yesterday a balmy 50 degree day, and when I went to work at 4:30 this morning it was 44 degrees.

We got a full on blizzard now. An actual Blizzard Warning is in effect for us here in this part of Iowa. It is 17 degrees and dropping. Winds a constant 30 mph with gusts into the 50+ range.

Visabilities are down to 0 at times. As I look out the window I can see the houses across the street. Barely.

In 2020 apparently dreaming of a White Christmas means a nightmare.

Motorcycle Santa is done for the season.

It's great that you've been out having all that fun (been hard to come by these days).

All those wimminfolk in the picture, makes one wonder if they were naughty or nice.

When I rode with Tom from AL (Santa, RIP), (and he would have on some of his Santa gear) it was amazing how many waitresses would want to sit on his lap and tell them what they wanted for Christmas.   Grin
