The man who gave us Mississippi Queen and so much more good music.
I saw him many times and was never disappointed. I had a few nice conversations with him too.
One of my early guitar milestones was learning the lead from “Theme for an Imaginary Western” note for note.

Mountain is one of my favorite bands. I killed a lot of braincells listening to them. I suppose Leslie is taking that big Nantucket Sleigh Ride. RIP Mr West.

I had a pristine '65Lincoln Continental.. suicide door 4 door with an after market stereo in quad installed..it only had 50k miles in '75..Mountain blasting away was awesome.....the back seat was ..a rock concert and more..thanx Mr.West..!!

Had the pleasure to see Mountain & The Michael Stanley Band play at a campground Bass Lake, IN in 76'. My 1st. knowledge of Leslie West.

Didn't know he died. Too bad.
I met him a couple of times and shared quite a few beers with him when he was in The Vagrants .
