How can we ever replace a man like him? His voice has been a beacon for free men for over 30 years. I listened to part of this show today but had to leave and run errands. I'm praying he'll return to the EIB microphone for at least a little while longer.  :'(

I first heard him in 1990 and was hooked instantly, he just makes sense and does it with style and class.

I remember in late 1988 or Early 1989 I called into the show and made it on the air.  Just 4.5 years out of high school and a degree from college. What an amazing man.  I will definitely pray for him and his family.  I hope to hear his voice again in 2021.

Dan, that article is from Oct 20th, I wonder if he's slowly continued to backslide. The tone of his last show might be an indication that's the case. It's very sad, he's too young to go this quickly.

I have been listening to Rush since day one.  I love to piss off his detractors by saying if I don't get to listen to Rush, I don't know what to think all day.  When I was working, I had his portrait hanging on my cubical wall and the words "Rush is always right" below it.  This would set them off as well.  Best wishes Rush.

I don' remember when I started listening to Rush but....  It was sometime ago.

In the early 90's I was in a building where I could not get a decent radio signal to listen to his program.  So.... I set up a small portable AM radio in the back of my pickup truck bed (covered) with a cassette tape recorder.  At noon, I'd go out and turn the radio on, press recored in the tape recorder and come back in an hour And take out the tape and put a new one in.

I could then listen in my cubicle at work with only an hour delay  Smiley

I wish him well and look forward to his return in 2021.

When Rush was diagnosed in Jan 2020, he was already stage 4.  He was not expected to live until now.  So, in typical Rush fashion, he has surpassed expectations.  It's not often that I have a chance to listen to him anymore.  Oddly though, I happened to listen to a lot of his broadcast yesterday.  I got the impression he knows his time is near.

Love Rush one great entertainer,  I have an extreme liberal friend in communist occupied Austin, Texas but it wasn't always that way.  But just saying Rushs name would set her off Into a manic raged frenzy it was quite fun to constantly mention his name to set her off.

Rush is one of the few who can convert liberals with persuasive thought, though most on the left aren't receptive to anything resembling common sense.
