My son is patiently awaiting a visit from the fat man (not me; the guy in the red suit). He wanted to play a few songs on guitar this Christmas Eve. I hope you enjoy his effort.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSopzL2Vt6s&feature=push-u-sub&attr_tag=mif8xvQjNBg8RFtE%3A6

Good talent and great confidence. Thanks for sharing. Glad the boy has a hobby and just a phone for thumb games.
Wish you all a Merry Christmas . May the big man soon be leaving him some gifts.

that is awesome for an adult let alone a young lad.  He is talented for sure, good job!   cooldude

IN another 10 years you can retire and he should hit it big in Nashville or on the country circuit around the states.  Or who knows maybe another POP or ROCK star whatever his talents and desires bring him.

I have to second that opinion. Calm and cool, good for him.

My son taught himself over the years, learned from the internet and using Tabs and stuff. My wife’s ringtone for him is a strumming guitar.

Good luck to him hope he continues to enjoy it.

Self confidence speaking in public (or playing and singing) does not always come easy to young people (or adults).  But it is an important part of growing up and becoming an adult, and being successful in higher education and any occupational pursuit.

We didn't have video growing up, but I remember the first time I was taped in speech class, and being surprised that I sounded like that.  Wait, that's me??   Later in law school, we got videoed making oral arguments, and then critiqued on delivery, content, organization, and stage presence.  White knuckle clutching the lectern like a sinking ship was to be avoided.

Doing video is easier than standing in front of a courtroom or school assembly, but it's good practice.
