The B side of Abbey Road is one of my favorites and GoldenSlumbers-The weight just is the best ending IMHO

Very cool.  Used to walk through there every morning and evening when I worked in Midtown.  Now I never leave the house.

Watching Paul play has always been a fun past time. Hard to believe for such an accomplished musician he still plays the guitar backwards, maybe he has a bit of dyslexia or something but it seems to work for him even after all these years.

I don’t know if he is as humble in private as he seems in public but he can certainly move a crowd and I will forever enjoy his music.

I was 14 when John was shot and it hit me pretty hard as I was really just beginning to learn about and enjoy music. The summer of ‘79 John Wayne and Thurman Munson died both guys who where my then idols. Duke movies were the best ever made and Munson was the best catcher and ball player I ever enjoyed watching who also carried my Mew York Yankees back into greatness. When Lennon was shot it was like someone shoved a sword through me as another person whose work I was beginning to enjoy was now gone.

With Paul, he’s been ot there doing his thing continuing to make people happy but when his time comes I know it will be a truly sad day for all of music. The work that man accomplished in his life will go on hopefully forever. The music those four guys from Liverpool managed in a short time is timeless and some of the best music ever made. If anyone ever gets a chance to see a PBS special on the production of Sgt. Pepper’s, I highly recommend it, it was a real insight into the groundbreaking and depth pit into that album.

Thanks for posting this Oss, there’s another video of Paul doing a “rooftop” recording for the Letterman show several years back which was fun to watch also.

Golden Slumbers...great song. I remember the first day I dropped my daughter off at college and it came on the radio when I was returning home. I must have driven through a bad section of pollen at the time cause my eyes just started watering like crazy.

Sir Paul is one of the great musicians of the era. He did a carpool karoake with James Corden (Late Late Show) in his hometown of Liverpool , visiting the house he grew up in and giving an impromptu concert for the residents. I think his humility is for real.
