Pay off debt and get another bike.
Luckily, I have no long term debt.. stopped using credit cards over 20 years ago and haven't looked back. Unfortunately, I have to sell the Wing if I want another bike, no room for a third machine. Having two bikes is nice in case one is down for maintenance, but honestly, I'm trying to cut down on all extra stuff, including vehicles. Registration, insurance, maintenance etc is getting to be too much. So the goal going forward? Minimalism Only recently have I joined the ranks of no long term debt, which is a great place to be. Sadly I also joined the ranks of the unemployed which kind of blunts the advantage of being debt free. So that’s a form of forced minimalism I suppose. I should have been more like the ants instead of the grasshopper.

Sorry to hear about the employment problem, actually you're in a better position regardless not servicing debt as you figure things out. Good luck with the job search I've been self employed for over 30 years cuz I'm a terrible employee haha.. Also, I should mention the last new vehicle I bought was a Ford truck in 1998, no payments = happiness.

My Goals:
Ride more, worry less.
Mine never change. Set low goals, then don't make them. Maybe if you set even lower goals, you could achieve one or two. Rams In all seriousness, I do have constant goals. First and foremost is to always try and be a good man. I rely on the 10 commandments, avoiding the 7 deadly sins, keeping my word and always telling the truth (except the small lies we tell to not offend or hurt people's feelings), and to try to help people whenever I can (but not be an enabler). To be generous in mind and spirit. Throw in the Boy Scout oath, law and motto, and my oath as a serving military officer to my country and constitution. To try and consult this moral compass whenever necessary in going about my days on this earth. To never let my temper or emotions override these rules, and good common sense. And then to a lesser extent. To keep my home, machines, property, finances and body in good working order, and not fall into disrepair... or decrepitude. Which lately has been a lot more work than I care to do. I'm good at creating long lists of things to be done. But it's depressing to look at every day, so I hide it from myself to keep my spirits up. I like these, but I need to add one more - keep my temper under control enough to not kill someone. And try to be more patient for my MIL. (awfully hard sometimes). Her condition is really frustrating me because I want to do the best for her, yet she seems to not be able to appreciate it....

Not only doesn't she appreciate it, she probably resents it (despite all good work and good faith).
I had to live with my mother in law visiting from overseas for 30 days at a time, twice. After two days of happy mother daughter reunion, it always turned into civil war and Sherman's march to the sea. I considered cold buckets of water, but then it would have been two on one to save my life.
The second time, I told the wife I was going to move into the bachelor officer's quarters on base. For 8$ a day, I could get a nice room with new queen bed, cable TV, mini bar fridge, microwave, an iron/board for my uniforms, and a really nice pool and patio. I even offered to come over for dinner once in a while. Man that did not go over at all. I was required to be present so there was a referee on premises. So I worked late a lot.

I’m not singing the blues here, I’m fortunate to be sure, just had not planned for the last 5-6 years turning out the way they have.

Well, not so bad then.. being debt free is still good for all of us, I hope to remain so until I retire permanently. I try not to say too much regarding training around here lest I be a pain in the ass but do you exercise? Any amount of consistent exercise changes the body literally from the inside out and will change your life for the better. I know too many who are sitting around and watching as the machine slowly breaks down.

I know too many who are sitting around and watching as the machine slowly breaks down. I don’t have a regular routine of exercise. But I’m not a couch potato either. I work everyday on my house remodel, usually 4-5 hours a day and when I get tired I stop for a break and then I’ll go again. When the weather permits I walk about 1.3 miles a day but I haven’t had a cold this season and I’d like to keep it that way. When I have the first floor of the remodel completed, I’ll still have plenty of projects around here but I should be able to schedule a time for some cardio.
