cooldude A beautiful day to be on The Last Ride of the Year smitten These use to be on the last Saturday of the month but now on the 30th. Hosted by the Stagecoach Cafe in Stockton, AL for another year. I heard over 20+ yrs of having this event, my 6th I believe.  Roll Eyes Being on a Wednesday few of our RTE group could make it. Only 3 of us for the breakfast in Century, FL then on to Stagecoach Cafe where plenty were there for breakfast and more for lunch. We were well represented as the ONLY Valkyries that we could find. We did find 2/ 2014 Valks though. The best looking Valk's there. smitten So next year think about making a trip this is a good one.  coolsmiley

Haha, sorry my friend Smiley

The sunshine tax I pay here as well as govt oppression are astronomical, so this is the payoff for all our suffering here under the demunist cheat machine.. at least Newsom still lets the sun shine and weather to be relatively warm.. so far..   Roll Eyes

I'm praying for Dominion to be banned nationwide and the perps escorted to Gitmo, then we'll put California back in the red column, where it belongs.

Power to you, bretshim!

I'm in Sacramento (I suspect in violation of the governor's order) without a bike where temps are expected to rise to sixty degrees.  That's about twenty degrees higher than my home base.  It's good to be in California where the climate is rewarding and a significant number of the people are still well thinking and friendly.

I hold no hope for the liberals surrendering their bastion here but maybe they can at least move away from extremists like the current governor.  I'm glad you live in San Diego area.  San Diego and the less populated parts of California seem very different from LA and SF.  We do all get to enjoy the climate regardless of our political stance.

BTW, you do meet the nicest people on Blue and White Hondas.

Good to hear you're in our beautiful state brother, there are so many good people here who are trapped. I definitely have a love-hate relationship with California now, after moving here in 1980 when I was first stationed at Vandenberg.. Man this place has changed and not for the better.

Last time I drove up to Northern California we came back through Sacramento, my impression was the drivers there are real assholes.. They just seemed super aggressive and at the time there were hardly any cars on the road because it was early morning. Have you noticed it or is it just me?

I have to concur about the blue and white Hondas thing, haha, but then again I could be a little biased:-).

Too bad you can't rent a Valkyrie up there, there are some beautiful and just plain spectacular motorcycle routes in Central and Northern California. I plan on hitting some of them..

LOL!  Rob, the quality of your assumptions is consistent across the board.    Wink

I enjoy this part of California.  I've been here a couple of times on two wheels.  This time i expected crossing the Rockies and Sierras on a bike would be unrewarding.

Yes, the drivers in general are more aggressive than what I'm normally experiencing.  That tends to be true in the concentrated  population areas across the state.

This picture was taken at our last stop. Anyone that has ever ridden with a group of Valkyries knows you can’t go anywhere without drawing attention. Everywhere we stopped people would be amazed at the Valkyries and it was a similar story each time. They could not believe how these bikes are over 20 years old and still look new.
