Just added air to the tires  of the 01 interstate  38 front 44 rear

good for the temps

some sunshine but still below freezing at 28 degrees Frost on the car windows but roads are dry.

Will make a coissant and whitefish and by the time I get done should be up to 30

Probably will not ride in the mountains as colder and sure to be black ice spots in the twists of the goat trail but will ride around Croton Point shoreline and maybe get a pic or two

Doubt I will see any other lunatics but you never know, there are a few old bmw riders out there that are crazier than I am    cooldude   but at least we all have the full face helmets on when below freezing

Get your fat girl out and ride if you can, it is a great way to start 2021

Shocked Wow, that kind of Cold I do not like  Undecided at all especially under freezing temps. I would rather ride in 100 deg. weather and do.  A rainy day down this way so I'll wait to get out cause I don't like rain either unless unavoidable. I'm sure you will enjoy, keep the rubber on the road.  coolsmiley

Not on the snow we have here. Happy New Year to everybody, I hope 2021 is better for everyone than 2020 was. Ride safe and watch out for the idiots.

No riding today. Freezing rain all day. But I finished the hydrolocked Valkyrie I was working on. I took it for a short spin yesterday. It was low 30s and the roads were fairly dry. But every time I closed my face shield my glass would fog up. Had to leave it open. Made for a very cold face. I rode just a couple of miles and the bike ran great. Owner is picking it up on Saturday..

Oss, glad to hear you will be getting in a ride.

I normally wait for the temps to get to 40 before heading out, but then being retired I have more options for riding.

Right now there is frost on the road ways and temps in middle 20's, not good for riding.   Maybe if it indeed gets to 40 this afternoon, will go out for a short ride (40-80 miles).  But a storm is on the coast right now which means it may be here after lunch.   They are projecting white for this storm and the next three line up off the coast.  Maybe the middle of the month before a ride happens.

amazing, turned right at end of my street and 200' later north on 9A and in a few seconds saw a crotch rocket going south

We both enthusiastically waved    cooldude  No other bikes on the road today

Rode off the road in Croton Point Park on the crunchy icy grass and took a few pics

This one came out best   It is looking northeast toward Montrose NY with part of the Hudson shoreline visible

Not a lot of miles but a lot of smiles to start the year off right

No electrics needed today
36 degrees now, may take out the bmw if the rain holds off later

Have fun Oss!  I'm a wimp for cold; it's in the low 40's right now.  It's going to warm up to a sunny 63° this afternoon.  We'll get out for a short ride then.   Evil

I didn't go out yesterday cuz my honey said she was up for a ride today Smiley

So I trained for 2 1/2 hours instead, to end the Old Year and ring in the New Year with a bang! This morning I slept in until 9 am, which NEVER happens!!  It was glorious!

Happy New Year all, let's make it a great one and take this country to new heights!
